Claude + NetSuite
Connect Claude to NetSuite without losing control
Your team already uses Claude. CoPlane connects it to NetSuite, with the same permissions your team has today and approval before anything posts.
- Build a NetSuite report without writing a saved search
- Check a NetSuite PO, bill or sales order
- Pull AP aging from NetSuite
- Reconcile a bank statement against NetSuite
- Draft a NetSuite journal entry for review
How to get started
Most teams begin with one task they do every week. We’ll help you pick yours and show you how it works with your NetSuite roles and approvals.
How it works
IT connects NetSuite once
Everyone keeps the NetSuite role and permissions they have today, and credentials are never shown to Claude.
Your team asks Claude
No new login, and no change to how you run NetSuite.
A person approves before it posts
Nothing changes the books without sign-off, and every request, action and change is recorded.

Media and Tech Conglomerate
“CoPlane has multiplied the impact of our internal IT and operations groups, letting us scale operations as efficiently as we scale our clinical footprint.”
Why not just use NetSuite’s MCP connector, or a copied admin login?
A direct connector can work for simple questions inside NetSuite. Finance work needs controls, and it crosses systems.
| Compare | Direct connector or copied login | CoPlane |
|---|---|---|
| Access | Often a full admin login, or whatever the vendor exposes | You choose which actions Claude can run, per person |
| Changes to the books | Read-only for some connectors, limited writes for others | Approval rules you set, per action |
| Systems it reaches | NetSuite only | NetSuite, your bank and portals in one conversation |
| Consistency | Claude works out the steps on every request | Registered actions run the same way every time |
| Audit trail | Split between NetSuite and Claude’s logs | One record of every prompt, approval and change |
Questions NetSuite teams ask
How do I connect Claude to NetSuite?
IT connects NetSuite to CoPlane once and sets who can do what. Your team then uses Claude as they do today, and it can reach NetSuite in the same conversation.
Where does our financial data go?
Credentials stay with CoPlane and are never shown to Claude or the user. CoPlane is SOC 2 and ISO certified. We recommend Claude Team or Enterprise, which don’t use your data to train models.
Can Claude post entries to NetSuite?
Only if you allow it. You decide which actions Claude can run and can require a person’s approval for anything that changes the books.
How do we know the numbers are right?
CoPlane runs each registered action the same way every time, so Claude isn’t improvising on the steps that touch your books. Start read-only and check its answers against your saved searches.
Who sets it up?
Your IT team, CoPlane’s forward deployed engineers, or both. Most teams start with one person for a few weeks, then one accountant, then the team.
How long until we’re live?
Weeks. There’s no migration, so most teams start with one high-volume task and add more from there.
