Connect Claude to Acumatica, one process at a time
Acumatica’s controls keep your books clean, but they make finance automation hard. CoPlane lets your team use approved AI tools like Claude, within the controls your business and your ERP already have in place.
Finance teams on CoPlane can:
- Reconcile daily deposits against the bank
- Ask Acumatica a question without building a Generic Inquiry
- Draft a reversing entry for review
- Post daily bank receipt entries for approval
- Match AP invoices to POs and receipts
Find your first AI process in Acumatica
Most teams begin with one process they repeat every week. In a 30-minute call, we’ll help you pick yours and show how it would work with your Acumatica roles and approvals.
How to get started
Start read-only.
Claude can look up records, pull reports and answer questions in Acumatica, but it can’t change anything. This is a safe way to see how it works with your data.
Claude drafts. Your team posts.
Claude prepares the entries and reconciliations, and a person reviews and posts them. You stay in control until you’re confident with the process.
Automate what’s working.
Once a process has proven itself, you decide which steps still need approval and which can run on their own. Every step is recorded.

Questions Acumatica teams ask
Which task should we start with?
One your team repeats every day and can put a cost on, like daily deposit reconciliation, bank receipt posting or recurring correcting entries. A single measurable win is easier to approve than a general assistant.
Is anyone running this in production on Acumatica?
Yes. A national car wash chain has reconciled its deposits daily in Acumatica since July 2026, across roughly 350 payment accounts and 26 bank accounts.
Does it work with Acumatica’s period locks and controls?
Yes, your controls stay in charge. CoPlane works through the same permissions your team already has, so it can’t do anything in your ERP that the person asking couldn’t do themselves. If a period is locked in Acumatica, it stays locked. On top of that, nothing changes the books without a person’s approval. Every request, approval and change is recorded, so you can see who asked, what ran and what was posted.
Can Claude post entries to Acumatica?
Only if you allow the agent to. You decide which actions Claude can run and can require a person’s approval for anything that changes the books.
Where does our financial data go?
Credentials stay with CoPlane and are never shown to Claude or the user. CoPlane is SOC 2 and ISO certified. We recommend Claude Team or Enterprise, which don’t use your data to train models.
Do we need to involve our Acumatica partner?
You don’t have to, but they’re welcome. Setup is handled by your IT team, CoPlane’s forward deployed engineers, or both.
How long until we’re live?
Weeks. There’s no migration, so most teams start with one high-volume task and add more from there.
